September 14th 2010: Just after the MTT Running Day
Last Sunday saw the MTT Running day from Liverpool South Parkway station running preserved vehicles from the Merseyside area on old services to/from the city. This was a good day for the MTT with around 15 vehicles in use. All three of James Rowlands vehicles were present and all were used on the free services. The three vehicles can be seen below. ![]() Left: Volvo B6 7227 on layover at Liverpool South Parkway Station.

It has been repainted into its as delivered livery style before the livery was revised to omit the white windscreen surround. Well done to Mat Southart who in the short period of time he had the bus for its repaint has done a superb job on getting this bus looking immaculate! (PS he is available for other vehicles if yours needs doing!!) The buses owners have spent a great deal of time and money to get 1466 into this condition and the hard work has paid off.

Gareth Hughes also unveiled his new preservation project, a Leyland Leopard Duple Dominant in National Express livery. Below are some pictures of the UKBPG vehicles from the event. August 30th 2010: MOT tests have been taken for Atlantean A135HLV and B6 L227TKA, and they both passed. This means that James now has all three of his vehicles on the road for yet another year. Another new vehicle has been acquired by UKBPG member Gareth Hughes. At the moment, the only information available is that it is another leopard. More information will be available soon and the vehicle is likely to be making an appearance at the Trans Lancs Rally on 5th September.
